V A R I E T Y

2019 Amble and Chase Rose Can - Languedoc, France - Normally $6.49 - Finally! A French Rose in a can that is actually worth drinking! I included two can wines this month because there is still a perception problem I notice in the shop where customers dont believe me that canned wines are high quality. Light, invigorating and easy-to-enjoy anywhere! Cherry blossom and white raspberry aromas with juicy peach and ripe red grapefruit with refreshing acidity. Enjoy in a hot tub, atop a skin track, or pair with a cheese board.

2018 Wrath Winery AL Sauvignon Blanc Can – Central Coast, California - Normally - $7.49 -100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on Wrath Winery’s estate San Saba Vineyard and treated with the same care and respect as their bottled wines. The grapes are handpicked and hand sorted before fermenting in steel vats; then rested on the lees for 3 to 4 months while flavors knit together.  Filtering and canning takes place at the winery.  Only BPA-free cans are used. The new wine is allowed to rest for six months before release.

2017 Lachini S Pinot Noir Chehalem Mountains - Willamette Valley, OR - Normally $59.99– 100% Pinot Noir from the biodynamically-farmed Lachini Estate Vineyard in the Willamette Valley's Chehalem Mountains AVA. The ‘S’ or ‘la Sorella della famiglia (‘sister’ to their Family Estate Pinot Noir) is crafted with a newer oak composition compared to the other estate wines. This bottling is a blend of 5 barrels and is bottled unfined & unfiltered to retain character and terroir. We received a fantastic deal from Ron Lachini on this wine and can include it in this month’s club as a result.

2019 Ocaso Malbec - Mendoza, Argentina - Normally $13.99– 100% Malbec from the Gougenheim Vineyards and Winery. In Spanish, Ocaso means sunset. This magical union between the sun and the earth gives birth each year to a unique vintage of fruits. Thanks to this union, our grapes reach their ideal maturity and attain an intense color, achieving this exquisite nectar.

NV Vinhas Altas Vinho Verde - Portugal - Normally $10.99 – What's hotter than Vinho Verde in 2022? Vinho Verde Rose! The slight spritz you've come to love from Portugal's most popular style is present here in rose form. Crisp, refreshing and delicious, with the slightest hint of sweetness. Orange zest, strawberries, and peach flavors and aromas dominate.
