Wente Hats Off Chardonnay 2019 – Napa Valley, California – Regularly $13.49 – 100% Chardonnay sourced from select vineyards in napa.  The grapes are harvested at full maturity and matured in a combination of new and used oak barrels.  This full bodied white shows notes of vanilla bean, demerara sugar, and ripe orchard fruit.  This Chardonnay pairs well with roasted salmon, or try it with a sage-butter chicken dish. 

90+ Cellars Lot 33 Languedoc Rosé 2019 Languedoc, France – Regularly - $13.49 – 50% Grenache and 50% Cinsault from vineyards along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Cévennes mountains.  The 2019 vintage was warm and dry which produced a unique rosé with both power and balance.  This wine shows flavors of ripe berry fruit, honeydew melon, wild herbs, and a pinch of white pepper. Try this one out with a strawberry spinach salad with candied pecans or perhaps an inventive quiche.  

Pieropan Soave 2018 – Veneto, Italy – Regularly 26.99 – Perhaps Italy’s most exciting white wine making region, Pieropan is the absolute leader in Soave Classico’s renaissance!  A blend of indigenous Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes, the wine is brilliant straw yellow in color with a nose of citrus, minerals and almonds. Excellent with pastas, shellfish, and a dream pair for sushi and sashimi.

Maysara Autees Pinot Blanc 2019Willamette, Oregon – Regularly 22.99 - A slightly richer style of the Pinot Blanc grape, tending towards ripe fruit notes of apricot and even lychee. The floral scents in the nose are honeysuckle alight on a cool breeze. The upright acidity beckon you back again, with ample minerality on the dry, clean finish. Stellar with the firmer cheeses, fresh, ripe fruit and subtly herbed seafood.

90+ Cellars Lot 179 Pinot Noir 2019 Central Coast, California – Regularly - $13.49 - 100% Pinot Noir from the marine influenced, foggy coastline of central California. The region is known for warm days and cool nights and its this diurnal shift which makes the Pinot Noir grown here so special.  This wine is medium bodied with smooth tannins and lush full flavors of ripe red plum, bing cherry, and fresh herbs.  It pairs well with glazed trout or a classic coq au vin.

Baus Family North Coast Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Sonoma County, California – Regularly 18.99 – 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the oak-studded hills and sun-kissed valleys of Sonoma.  This rich and full bodied Cabernet has well integrated tannins and shows flavors of ripe dark fruit with a touch of clove. A powerful wine like this loves grilled meat, pair with charred lamb or perhaps braised short ribs.  

Bodegas Ego Marionette 2017 Jumilla, Spain – Regularly $13.49 – 50% Syrah and 50% Monastrell from one of the oldest DO’s in Spain. The region sits on a high plain at the intersection of Andalucía, La Mancha, and Valencia between the Castilian plateau and the Mediterranean coast.  This medium bodied and balanced Rhone style blend shows dark chocolate, blackberry jam, and cassis.  This pairs great with grilled pork, chicken, or beef, it’s also a great charcuterie plate wine.

Allegrini Pallazzo Della Torre 2016 – Veneto, Italy – Regularly $20.49 – 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Sangiovese from a vineyard which surrounds the masterful renaissance architecture of Villa della Torre. This wine is made using a take on the Ripasso technique, whereby most of the grapes are vinified at harvest, however a portion are set aside to partially dry.  After four months of concentrating the dried grapes are pressed, vinified, and matured for 15 months before being married together for another 2 months. The result is a full bodied velvety red wine with flavors of raisins, vanilla, black pepper, clove, and a whisper of cinnamon.  Pair this wine with saffron risotto above all else, perhaps with mushroom and pork.

Domaine de Fontsainte Corbieres Rouge 2018 – Languedoc. France - Regularly $20.99 - 60% Carignan, 30% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, half of which is aged 8-12 months in French oak barrels, the remainder in cement tank.  From winemaker Bruno Laboucarié in Corbières, whose family has been making wine since the 17th century. The 2018 is as complete and consistent as ever, with notes of black cherries, blackberries, and garrigue. This wine is a meal unto itself, but it will pair beautifully with a wide range of grilled meats and vegetables.
