W H I T E S

2020 Man Family Wines Sparkling Chenin Blanc – Coastal Region, South Africa – Reg $20.99 – 100% Steen, the traditional South African word for Chenin Blanc. Chenin Blanc, with its naturally elevated acidity levels, is a natural choice for winemakers to craft sparkling wines. A lively bouquet of summer fruit and fresh tropical fruits greet the palate. This wine will compliment spicy dishes (I love pad thai!) seafood and deep-fried canapes.

2020 I Veroni Bianco di Toscana Vermentino – Tuscany, Italy– Reg $14.99 – 100% Vermentino from hillside vineyards in Tuscany. Estate grown and bottled in a small family winery in Tuscany Light yellow in color with flavors of yellow flowers and aromatic herbs. Fresh on the palate with a mineral and silky taste and an elegant acidity. Excellent as an aperitif, with light and creamy cheeses or pair with fresh seafood like grilled mountain trout.


2019 Moonlit Harvest Chardonnay – Monterey, CA – Reg $15.99 – 100% Chardonnay of which 90% is barrel fermented, 60% of which is new. The wine aged on the lees for 8 months. This is a bigger, rounder, fuller style of Chardonnay that opens up with inviting oak aromatics, followed by tropical fruit notes of papaya, and flavors of white nectarine and creamy vanilla. The wine finishes with a beautifully round mouthfeel. ​Pairs well with any dishes that feature a creamy sauce. White wine and butter morel sauce over trout is my personal favorite.

2020 Domaine de Chanteleuserie Rose – Loire, France – Reg $17.99 - 100% Cabernet Franc. This Rosé from the Bourgueil sub region of the Loire is made from the most popular red grape of the region, Cabernet Franc. This makes for a large bouquet of apple blossoms, pink peach, guava and apricot. On the palate the wine is delicate with notes of strawberry, peach and tropical fruits. There are notes of wet stone and a slight herbal note. Light tannin and moderate alcohol make for a medium, dry finish. This east drinking wine pairs well with
fruit salads, goat cheeses and fresh vegetables.

2018 Barra of Mendocino Estate Grown Pinot Noir – Mendocino, California – Reg $24.99 – 100% Pinot Noir from organically farmed estate vineyards. The wine aged in 60-gallon oak barrels for 14 months using 20% new French oak with a medium+toast. This lovely Pinot Noir opens with an intriguingly spicy aroma. Lush black cherry notes on the palate follow through, and aging in French oak barrels contribute to a long finish with notes of vanilla and coconut. The tannins are soft, but the rich, full body of this wine enable it to complement even a hearty dish.

2019 I Veroni Chianti Rufina ‘I Domi’ DOCG – Tuscany, Italy – Reg $17.49 – A blend of Sangiovese, Cannaiolo and Colorino from vineyards in the respected DOCG region of Chianti Rufina. This fragrant, focused red boasts inviting earthy aromas of truffle, wild berry, tilled soil, new leather and blue flower. Firm refined tannins accompany red cherry, crushed raspberry and star anise while fresh acidity provides balance. Pair with pizza night, also excellent with any red sauced pasta.

2019 Domaine Bousquet Malbec – Bordeaux, France – Reg $13.99 – 100% Malbec, fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its varietal typicity and achieve a fruity and expressive character. The wine is vinified with a French sensibility. The wines are un-oaked – an on-trend sensibility of little or no oak to let the fruit shine through and make the wines extremely food-friendly. Pair with lighter meat dishes, taco night, or anything with a bit of spice like bbq chicken or even pulled pork.

2019 Moonlit Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon – Livermore Valley, CA – Reg $20.49 – 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 18 months in 40% new and 60% second and third use French oak Barrels. From the Wente Wine Family. Opens up with a beautiful earthiness and notes of cocoa, warm spice, and black fruit. Complex yet well- integrated, this wine has round smooth tannins, a long finish and is the perfect match for red meats on the grill or well grilled vegetables.
