REDS
2017 Yamhill Valley, Pinot Noir – Willamette Valley, Oregon – Reg $22.99 – 100% Pinot Noir from the famous region of Willamette Valley. Established in 1983, Yamhill Vineyards is the second oldest vineyard in the Valley. This pinot noir is 100% estate grown with larger than usual fruit giving it staying power both in the bottle and in the glass. On the nose the wine has notes of deep ruby fruits and purple flowers. On the palate those qualities show through as fresh plum, blackberries, topsoil and black tea. The wine is overall soft on the palate, fresh with a short finish. This pinot would pair well with figs and goat cheese, sauteed mushrooms, browned butter and pasta.

2017 Columbia Winery, Cabernet Sauvignon – Columbia Valley, Washington – Reg $19.99 – Cabernet Blend from one of Washington’s premier growing regions. 11% Malbec is added to this wine which is fermented in stainless steel then aged in both French and American oak barrels. The result is a Rich, full-bodied wine with excellent palate structure. There are notes of black,
dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, there is the addition of Blackberries, Currant, Cedar, Vanilla and Cocoa. The blending of the wine makes the tannins slightly softer and richer on the finish.This would pair perfectly with hearty stews and roasts.
2019 Ratti Battaglione, Barbera d’Asti, Barbera– Piedmont, Italy – Reg $25.99 – 100% Barbera from the piedmont in Northern Italy. Established in the 1960’s, Renato Ratti has been making classic styled wines showcasing the vineyards and terrior of the Piedmont. This Barberais aged in barrel for 1 year before being released for sale. The final result is an intense ruby wine with notes of red clay, ripe red fruits and herbal elements of sage, thyme and clove. The wine is dry and medium bodied with a medium finish. This wine could easily age 6-10 years or more showcasing the earth elements even more. Hard goat cheeses, cured ham, and grilled game meat would pair very well with this Barbera.

2019 Anne Delaroche, Cotes du Rhone, Syrah Blend – Rhone, France – Reg $16.49 – 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Carignan. This Rhone blend from Delaroche is grown on a hillside of deep loamy and sandy soils. Here they are still using traditional winemaking techniques and are still using horse drawn plows to till their vineyards. The estate is a certified organic estate that
prides itself on tradition. The Grenache dominate blend is a lighter styled Rhone red. On the nose, there are notes of ripe cherry, plum and blueberry. On the palate, notes of rich earth, dusty barnyard, ripe red fruits and baking spices round out the palate. It is a medium bodied wine with light tannin and a medium finish. This would pair very well with crispy duck, asian noodles,
roasted game hen and cooked summer squashes.
VARIETY 

2019 Yamhill Valley, Rosé Willamette Valley, Oregon– Reg $18.99 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Blanc from the famous region of Willamette Valley. Established in 1983, Yamhill Vineyards is the second oldest vineyard in the Valley. This Rose is made from all estate grown fruit, hand harvested and de-stemmed before pressing. The result is a bright, almost fuchsia colored wine.
The nose is pungent with fresh roses, strawberry and tropical fruit jumping out of the glass. On the palate those notes are present as well as bright watermelon, slate and crisp acid. The wine is juicy and round with a short finish. This is perfect for those last remaining warm days and pairs well with pizza, charcuterie and soft cheeses.

2020 Alta Vista, Vive, Malbec – Mendoza, Argentina – Reg $13.99 – 100% Malbec from Mendoza. The vineyards of Alta Vista are all located above 3,200 feet in the Andes Mountains.The altitude aides in creating wines with greater freshness and complexity. Alta Vista strives to produces wines showing the true character of the grape. This Malbec is fresh, dark and intense. The wine is fruit driven with blackberries, prunes and currant on the nose. One the palate the
wine is inky, large and full bodied. Dried lavender, lilly and cooked black fruit are the dominate qualities with notes of coffee and black soil rounding out the wine. The finish is long lasting with soft tannins. Pair this wine with beef or pork empanadas, grilled steak with chimichurri and meaty sandwiches.

2018 Domaine Bousquet, Gaia, Red Blend– Mendoza, Argentina – Reg $21.99 – 50% Malbec, 45% Syrah, 5% Cabernet. This 100% estate grown wine is sourced from the Bousquet vineyards high in the Andes Mountains. Located above 4,000 feet, the grapes produced are fresh and high in acidity. The wine spends 10 months aging in French oak barrels before being released. The final wine is big on the nose with red apple, red cherry and roses on the nose. The nose follows on the palate with the addition of vanilla, baking spices, blackberries and solid tannins. The finish is long and lingering. This wine would pair very well is Game Chili, grilled sausage, and BBQ Chicken.

NV CAN Wine Works, Brut Rosé – Dundee, Oregon – Reg $7.49 - 67% Pinot Gris, 18% Chardonnay, 3% Riesling. This sparkling rosé blend from Oregon is made with grapes grown from the ever-popular Dundee region of Oregon. The result is a fun zesty sparkling wine. There are notes of Strawberry, Lavender, Kiwi and white flowers throughout with a crisp dry finish. This is a simple yet fun wine. Pair this with your favorite hiking, fishing, biking or float spot.

NV CAN Wine Works, Brut – Dundee, Oregon – Reg $7.49 – 75% Pinot Gris, 20% Chardonnay, 3% Riesling, 2% Gewurztraminer. A fun sparkling blend from the Dundee region of Oregon, Like its Rosé counterpart, this wine is zesty bright and dry. There are notes of pear, slate, Gala apples and sweet citrus throughout the wine with a crisp refreshing finish. Wine pairings for this are just as nice. Take these cans to your favorite spot outside and enjoy the weather.
WHITES

2018 Villa Varda, Pinot Bianco – Friuli, Italy – Reg $21.49 – 100% Pinot Bianco from the northeast region of Friuli. Located between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, Villa Varda’s vineyards sit on gravelly, limestone soils along the Livenza River. This is the ideal spot for Friuli’s native grape, Pinot Bianco. The terroir driven, hand harvest wine is a classic example of the grape. The nose has notes of green apple, white flowers, and zesty lime. On the palate the nose continues
with more citrus, honeysuckle, and crisp white pear. Bright fresh acid and moderate alcohol give this wine a light and bright texture with a short finish. This would pair well with fruit and cheese salads, ricotta and honey toast and shellfish.

2019 Brunier Vaucluse, Le Pigeoulet, Rhone Blend Rhone, France– Reg $22.49 33% Grenache Blanc, 33%Clairette, 33% Roussanne. The Brunier family has been making wine in the Rhone for decades. The family, also owners of the famed Vieux Telegraphe, is known for their quality and winemaking history in the region. “Le Pigeoulet” is derived from the foothills of the equally famous “La Crau” plateau where Vieux Telegraphe is located. The white Rhone blend produced here is aged in large oak barrels known as foudres. The larger barrels mean less oak influence on the already full-bodied grapes. The nose of the wine has very floral with notes of lily’s, waxy yellow and white flowers, and papaya. On the palate the wine is rich and round with more floral notes, yellow citrus, lemon zest, clover honey, kiwi, sandy stone and dried straw. This
wine would pair well with grilled asparagus, sauteed squash and zucchini and grilled chicken with a citrus sauce.
